About Me
I’m Abby, owner of Abby Liane Photography. I’m a SAHM to 3 young kids and have been married to my husband/best friend since 2016 🩷
My passion for photography started at a young age — probably in elementary school with disposable cameras, if I’m being honest! In high school, that passion exploded when I signed up for a film photography class.
The beauty of each process that goes into film, from developing the rolls of film in the black room, to viewing your negatives on an enlarger and watching your images come to life while they sit in a bin of developer, is truly one-of-a-kind.
Digital photography was a huge learning experience for me, and I still learn new things every day! While the process is different than film, I have found such a love for the extra level of control I have over every detail.
A few years ago, my husband, kids and I had family photos taken, and it honestly cost a small fortune. While I absolutely respect a photographer’s profession and the time that goes into it, as a one-income family with 3 children, it was a huge expense for us!
It was after that session, that I had the idea to offer family photos at an overall more financially accessible price point.
That was in 2022, and as of the end of 2025 I’ve had over 200 paid sessions, with several repeat families! That might not seem like much, but as a stay-at-home mom, this has given me the opportunity to still be home with my babies, while being able to financially contribute to my family.
The utter joy I feel when I meet new families, and the love I feel when I get to see families for the second, and even third and fourth time, is indescribable!
I wholeheartedly believe that families should be able to have nice family photos, without having to make a large monetary sacrifice. And I know for us moms, it’s so often us who take pictures of our kids and partner. I love being able to give parents a chance to be in the photos, interacting with and loving on their kids.
That also comes with another level of commitment from me, because when I meet a new family, I understand that most kids don’t want to jump into taking pictures for a stranger. Which is why I love talking to your kids and trying to make them feel comfortable and encouraging them to have fun during your session, and never want you to feel rushed.
I truly hope all of my clients know how much I value them, and what a lasting impact they have on me! I am honored to have been able to document part of your story.

I'm a firm believer that family photos should be financially accessible to all people which is why I assume such reasonable fees for my work.
